As I mentioned last week, I started a brand new notebook for post ideas and inspiration, now that I'm to the end of my current notebook. I'm excited to start filling these (100% recycled) pages!
MY RESOLUTIONS
FOCUSING ON WHAT'S IMPORTANT
I don't think it's an underestimation to say we can all spread ourselves a little thin sometimes. Between my day job, the blog, my freelance writing, extracurriculars and quality time with my family and friends, I started to feel a bit burnt out this past year. In 2018, I'm looking forward to prioritizing what and who are most important, being more assertive at saying no, and managing my time better. Let's see if I actually get better at being more productive in the morning before work. HA!READING WITH MORE INTENTION
Skimming emails or messages can make me miss important details, and I've realized how much I need to get better at slowing down and fully reading what comes my way.MORE ZERO-WASTE EFFORTS
As I've learned even more about zero-waste efforts during 2017, one area I'd love to be more dedicated in is shopping from the bulk bin at the grocery store, using my own containers. I'd also love to find a way to buy fish and meat without Styrofoam and plastic wrap.ACHIEVE A MORE MINIMALIST APPROACH AT HOME
My husband and I are tackling some projects around the house, and we're working to streamline what we have, organize more, and keep what's most important and useful to us.
