Man, this morning was one of those mornings where I woke up almost angry that it wasn't Saturday and I couldn't sleep in a little longer. At least it's only one more day away!

In local news for this week's link roundup:

• Vote for Ray Boudreaux on The Voice! He's a hometown guy and has been representing Lafayette well this season.
• The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will be adding bike lanes to St. Mary in time for the Spring 2014 semester. This will be very welcome by the students and anyone else who enjoys riding around campus! They're also adding bike racks, shelters and lockers throughout campus and near the parking garages.
• Louisiana is ranked 44th out of 50 states for energy efficiency. Not surprisingly. At least we aren't dead last!

• Seventh Generation has tips on how to stay warm this winter without overusing the heater, and they're great additions to my winterizing post from earlier this week.
